Wise men crossed deserts to worship a newborn King. I said I would too, and lied. Don't lie about it. Go and worship Him. #Jesus

Herod the king, troubled when wise men came asking for the one born King of the Jews; he lied that he would worship Him, and in his wrath Bethlehem wept.

Confirmed by history: The historian Josephus dates his reign and his death; Jesus was born before Herod died.

Question I put to my visitors today: at what time did the star appear? Details matter in statecraft... They answered. I answered too — go search diligently, bring me word again. We look forward to it. 🏰

In the newsRaindrop cake

A cake that looks like a drop of water. Wise men once brought gold, frankincense and myrrh to a young child in a house, and fell down and worshipped him. Now the dessert itself is pretending to be nothing.

Visitors from the east in Jerusalem, asking where is he that is born King of the Jews. Interesting question. The king of the Jews would like a word with them. Privately.
