The wife of Heber the Kenite; when Sisera fled on his feet to her tent she went out to meet him, covered him with a mantle, gave him milk when he asked for water, and while he slept took a nail of the tent and an hammer, and he died; Deborah's song says 'Blessed above women shall Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite be'.
